Deputies said they are investigating the shooting as a homicide and have no suspects in the case.
Investigators said there was a party at the home and people were shooting off celebratory gunfire.
Shell casings were found in the back yard, but police said it’s not related to the homicide.
Bullet holes were also found in the front of the home.
“We did get information that about four weeks ago, this was the scene of a drive-by shooting that was not reported to the sheriff’s office,” said Chief Deputy Gary Brannen.
Deputies are trying to identify the people involved in the drive-by in order to determine if they’re responsible for the shooting.
“If they didn’t achieve their goal four weeks ago, they may have come back last night and finished what they started,” said Brannen.
