ORLANDO, Fla. — Wednesday will bring a classic late-summer feel to Central Florida, with hot, muggy conditions and another round of afternoon and evening storms.
Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s and low 90s Wednesday afternoon.
As the sea breeze develops, showers and thunderstorms are expected to fire up, with the greatest coverage likely across interior communities.

Some storms could produce locally heavy rainfall, so a few spots may pick up a quick downpour.
Storm and rain chances will remain elevated through the rest of the week and into the weekend.
While the weather stays active locally, the tropics remain unusually quiet.
Thursday marks the peak of the Atlantic hurricane season, but there is little indication of a major uptick in tropical activity over the next week.
Long-range forecast models also suggest the tropics could remain relatively quiet well into September.
That could have an important historical implication.
If no hurricane forms before then, the Atlantic could set a record for the latest first hurricane of the season.
For now, the tropics are staying quiet while the focus remains on Florida’s daily heat, humidity and afternoon storms.
