ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — An overnight crash involving a motorcycle and a car on Interstate 4 near the infamous Fairbanks Curve knocked down a sign that warns drivers to slow down.
The accident shut down the westbound lanes for a couple of hours.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The sign that was knocked down was the temporary electronic sign telling drivers to check their speed.
The electronic sign was removed on Friday.
The only sign left is the permanent, yellow road sign that the Florida Department of Transportation installed last month.
