ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orange County inmate who deputies say stripped off her jumpsuit and briefly escaped from jail early Saturday was back behind bars Monday.
During a hearing Sunday, the judge denied Alexandra Pablos, 26, bail for her newly garnered escape charge.
Jail officials alerted deputies that Pablos had escaped around 2:45 a.m. Saturday,
Guards locked down the jail after finding Pablos’ jumpsuit near the inside of a perimeter fence.
Deputies said Pablos was able to exit the jail through an unlocked door before taking off her jumpsuit, climbing a fence and escaping through a gap in the razor wire.
She then crossed John Young Parkway and hid outside a nearby concrete business, investigators said.
Multiple deputies and detectives, including the Sheriff's Office helicopter and K-9 unit, converged on the jail.
The helicopter crew spotted someone hiding on the property of Paver’s Depot across from the jail, deputies said.

A K-9 unit searched the business and found Pablos hiding near a semitruck on the property.
Deputies apprehended Pablos, who received a police dog bite wound to her left buttock, deputies said.
Pablos was originally booked into the Orange County jail on a burglary charge at the end of May.
Saturday's incident was the first escape from Orange County Jail since 2015, when inmate Ryan Buck escaped from the work release center on Kaley Avenue.
Before that, inmagte Willie Hollis escaped from the jail's booking area in February 2014.
He was later tracked down in Georgia.
