An integrated intervention response team will be onsite at Blossom Park all this week, providing those with substance abuse problems a place to get help. Three substance abuse counselors and a nurse will be on hand to provide assessments, determine appropriate level of care, if needed, and provide education about treatment options and community resources.

Officials it all started with the prescription pill epidemic.

"Those pills maybe less available for those that are addictive to an opiate another alternative a cheaper alternative is heroin, and it's finding its place right here in Orange County, unfortunately," said director of the Orange County Drug Free Office Carol Burkett.

Florida led the country in prescription pill overdose deaths.
