KISSIMMEE, Fla. — A Kissimmee woman is a multi-millionaire after claiming a $10 million Powerball prize from a drawing held in May.
Noemi Figuerda claimed the winning prize and chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of nearly $5 million.
Her big win comes as Powerball players across the country look ahead to the next drawing, scheduled for Wednesday.
The estimated jackpot for that drawing is $48 million.
