LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A woman in her 70s killed her husband and their adult son with special needs before killing herself Tuesday at their home in an apparent double murder-suicide, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said.
Investigators said they were called shortly before noon to the Avenida Augusta home after a pool service employee noticed a foul odor.
Neighbors told investigators they had not seen the family in weeks.

Deputies said they discovered three bodies in the home; each person had been shot.
Deputies said it is unclear when the family had died.
Their identities have not been released.
