23-year-old woman dies after ATV crash in Lake County, troopers say

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A 23-year-old woman has died after an all-terrain vehicle crash in Lake County, Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday on Duda Road near Orlando North Airpark, troopers said.

A Polaris Ranger with four people onboard overturned into a ditch filled with water, according to a news release.

The woman was ejected and became trapped under the ATV.

The woman and the other passengers were transported to Advent Health Apopka, where the woman died.

FHP is still investigating what caused the crash.
