FRUITLAND PARK, Fla. — A woman was found unresponsive inside an Amazon delivery vehicle Sunday evening in Fruitland Park and later died at a hospital, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 7:22 p.m. Aug. 10 to the area of Clark Road after a complainant reported that an Amazon delivery vehicle had been stationary for an extended period.
Lake County Fire Rescue and EMS also responded. The woman was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Her cause of death has not been determined. Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau are continuing to investigate.
