Main Event in Orlando debuts new human crane attraction

The company is offering a limited-time spring break package for $29.99 through May

ORLANDO, Fla. — Main Event Entertainment is introducing a new attraction that lets guests step inside a life-sized claw machine, with the experience now rolling out at many locations, including in the Orlando area.

The new attraction, called the Human Crane, is designed to mimic the classic arcade claw machine, but with people taking the place of the claw.

Participants are fitted into a safety harness, lifted above a large prize pit and lowered down as they try to grab prizes below.

Main Event says the attraction is being added to a majority of its centers nationwide as part of a broader spring break push focused on family entertainment.

In addition to the new attraction, the company is offering a limited-time spring break package for $29.99 through May.

The deal includes:

  • unlimited activities
  • a $10 game card
  • one entrée

Available activities vary by location but can include bowling, laser tag, mini golf, billiards, shuffleboard and gravity ropes.

Food options included in the promotion feature several menu items such as burgers, chicken tenders, flatbread pizza, boneless wings and salads.

A spokesperson for Main Event said the goal is to offer families an activity that combines games, food and group entertainment during spring break and early summer.

Dave & Buster’s Entertainment owns Main Event, which operates 64 locations across 22 states.

Orlando-area guests can check individual center offerings because attraction availability may differ by location.

For more information, guests can visit Main Event’s website for participating locations and activity details.
