ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A man accused of strangling his College Park neighbor more than 13 years ago will be arraigned on capital murder charges Wednesday.
Demorris Hunter is in the Orange County Jail on charges of killing Theresa Green in 2002.
Green's body was found stuffed into the trunk of her car. Authorities said they quickly identified Hunter as a suspect.
Officials said in 2002, Hunter was starting a new life in Orlando, but he was already wanted for another killing in Oakland, California from earlier that year.
The California judge has sentenced Hunter to 110 years in prison for the Oakland murder, but Hunter is back in Orlando to face charges for Green's slaying.
