LAKE MARY, Fla. — A man is in jail, accused of attacking a woman at a Lake Mary apartment complex.
Police said a woman called 911 around 8 a.m. Wednesday saying a man approached and attacked her at the Colonial Grande Apartment complex near International Parkway.

According to police, the woman was knocked to the ground and screamed for help as she fought off the man.
Police said man, who they identified as Raja Bangaru, tried to run away, but was caught by several people who heard the woman scream. They held him until police arrived.
According to police, The woman said she and the man had met before because she walks her dog in the same area each morning and the man has been in the area.
Police said the woman suffered several minor injuries in the incident.
Bangaru was booked into the Seminole County Jail on charges of stalking, battery and attempted sexual battery. He is being held on no bond.
