TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Police have arrested a man accused of fatally shooting a 44-year-old father of 13 early Saturday at a Titusville home.
Marquis Cook, 18, was taken into custody late Sunday after police conducted a traffic stop on a car in which they believed he was a passenger.
Cook allegedly shot Greg King shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday during a fight at a home on Essex Street near North Carpenter Road, Titusville police Cmdr. Todd Hutchinson said.
Cook is the son of King's girlfriend, the victim's daughter told Channel 9.
The shooting happened when King and his girlfriend started arguing after a night out, police said.

Hutchinson said police quickly identified Cook as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest Saturday.
King's daughter, Dominique King, could not believe something like this could happen to her father.
"It wasn't real," she said. "I couldn't belive that someone would shoot my father.
"I didn't know what was going on, I didn't know what happened at first."
Cook was charged with first-degree premeditated murder.
He was being held without bond at the Brevard County Jail.
