OCALA, Fla. — The Marion County Sheriff's Office said a landlord killed a tenant he was trying to evict Friday evening in Ocala.
Deputies said they found Marc Bruss dead at about 8:30 p.m. inside a home in the 2800 block of Southeast 59th Street.
Investigators said deputies went to the home several times Friday in reference to Stanley Jenson attempting to evict Bruss.
Deputies said they explained the eviction process to Jenson and told him to not return to Bruss' home.
According to deputies, Jenson returned to the home Friday evening and shot and killed Bruss.
Jenson was transported to the Marion County Jail, where he is being held without bail.
