A man in his 50s disappeared underwater while boogie boarding Sunday

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said crews are searching for a man who disappeared underwater Sunday morning.

Deputies said the incident was reported around 9:30 a.m. after a man in his 50s was on a boogie board, went underwater and did not resurface.

The sheriff’s office said the search remains underway and the man has not been located.
