PORT ORANGE, Fla. — A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning near the Interstate 95 southbound exit for Taylor Road, according to the Port Orange Police Department.
Police said officers responded around 6:13 a.m. to the area of the I-95 southbound off-ramp to westbound State Road 421 (Taylor Road) after receiving reports of a crash.
Investigators said the driver, who was the vehicle’s sole occupant, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation by the Port Orange Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit.
