LAKELAND, Fla. — Three masked men, one wearing a Halloween mask, robbed a Lakeland Ramada Inn on Highway 98 North, police said Thursday.
On Oct. 21 at about 1:45 a.m., the on-duty clerk said three masked men rushed through the front door of the hotel and demanded he turn around, shut up and to face the wall. The clerk said they then demanded money from the register and he handed them the cash drawer.
The three men fled out of the front door in an unknown direction. The clerk was not injured in the robbery.
A video surveillance system captured the robbery as well as the suspects' vehicle. The vehicle is described as a silver or gold-colored Ford F150 crew cab with chrome (long) steps, with a sliding rear window.
One of the robbers is described as skinny, wearing a black hoodie, tan pants, black mask and gloves and armed with a small handgun, standing at about 6 feet tall.
A second robber is described as skinny, wearing black pants, black hoodie and a white Halloween mask, white gloves and armed with a small silver handgun, standing at about 6 feet tall.
Robber No. 3 is described as heavyset, weighing about 200 to 220 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, black pants and gloves and standing at about 6 feet tall.
