KISSIMMEE, Fla.,None — Two men posing as ADT employees robbed a manager of a Kissimmee Perkins restaurant over the weekend, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said two men who identified themselves as ADT security system employees walked into the restaurant on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway at 1:09 a.m. Sunday and asked to speak with the manager after they flashed their identifications.
The manager said the men told him they were working on the security system and asked him to go to outside.
When he walked outside, the manager said he saw work cables and a four-door hatchback vehicle. Deputies said the men took the manager into the office at gunpoint and demanded money from the safe.
The robbery happened in the back of the restaurant and the other Perkins' employees did not know the holdup was taking place, deputies said.
Investigators said the men got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
