ORLANDO, Fla. — Crews began demolishing the former Merita Bread building in Orlando Wednesday.
Maudlin International Trucks plans to build a dealership on the location.
The Merita Bread factory closed in 2012 after more than 50 years at that location.

The plant closed after negotiations to end a strike by its second largest union failed. Merita Bread was produced by Hostess brands.
About 300 workers at the Merita Bread plant were out of a job after the Hostess company filed for bankruptcy.
