ORLANDO, Fla. — One person was killed and roadways were closed for hours after a crash involving a motorcycle and tractor-trailer in Orlando, police said.
The crash happened at about 10:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of East Landstreet Road.
Police were working to identify the motorcycle rider but were not immediately able to “due to the circumstances of the crash,” a release from the Orlando Police Department said.
East Landstreet Road was shut down from Atlantic Avenue to Boggy Creek Road.
The closure initially affected the nearby UPS distribution center and trucks were unable to enter or exit the facility, police said.
The roads have since been reopened.
No other information on the crash was immediately available.
