DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Law enforcement in Volusia County is searching for a man they consider armed and dangerous.
Police said Xavion Marquee Perry III, is a suspect in a Gainesville homicide investigation stemming from a domestic violence incident.
Law enforcement is actively searching for Perry after he fled from the Daytona Beach police.
After Perry was spotted in Daytona Beach on Tuesday night he abandoned his vehicle at the Main Street beach approach and was last seen running toward the Main Street Pier, though he was not immediately located.
The Daytona Beach Police Department has urged the public to not approach Perry if he is seen.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call 911 immediately or contact the Daytona Beach Police Department directly.
Authorities have requested the public share this information to help locate Perry safely and quickly.
