ORLANDO, Fla. — Central Florida travelers flying to Dubai and destinations beyond will soon have another cabin option from Orlando International Airport.

Emirates will start daily Airbus A350 flights between Dubai and Orlando on Nov. 1, replacing the Boeing 777 used since 2015.

The change will make Orlando the first U.S. gateway to receive the Emirates A350 on regularly scheduled service and will also bring the airline’s Premium Economy cabin to the Central Florida market.

For travelers departing from Orlando, the new aircraft offers an additional choice between Economy and Business Class on long flights to Dubai or onward to more than 90 destinations across Emirates’ network.

The Emirates A350 will have 298 seats across three cabins:

  • 32 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout
  • 28 Premium Economy seats
  • 238 Economy Class seats

Emirates flight EK219 is scheduled to leave Dubai at 3:05 a.m. and arrive at Orlando International Airport at 10:20 a.m. each day.

The return flight, EK220, is set to depart Orlando at 8:20 p.m. and arrive in Dubai at 7:10 p.m. the following day. All times are local.

The evening departure from Orlando gives passengers a direct option to Dubai, along with connections throughout the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe and other destinations served through Emirates’ Dubai hub.

“We are delighted to offer elevated experiences for our US customers,” said Matthew Jones, Emirates’ VP for the USA. ”Travelers on this route can now fly to Dubai with the latest in-flight amenities and comfort across all three cabin classes, including Premium Economy, which is expanding to more routes in our network.”
