ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — People living in a Dr. Phillips-area condo are complaining of headaches and harassment from a neighbor.

Marianna Seachrist was first arrested last year after deputies claimed she was purposely making noise at all hours.

She’s been arrested again in two new stalking cases, one of which involves a sheriff’s deputy.

When Seachrist was arrested last year, deputies said she used a sophisticated speaker system to rattle the walls and stalk her downstairs neighbor.

The woman living downstairs from Seachrist said the constant noise greatly affected her life.

“You couldn’t sit at the dining room table, you couldn’t be in the kitchen. I had to wear earplugs,” said the woman, who asked not to be identified.

Inside Seachrist’s home, deputies found low-frequency speakers facing the floor, and the walls weighted down, hooked up to an amplifier and playing noise on loop.

The noise was activated with a smartphone.

The case was dismissed, but now Seachrist is accused of stalking a female sheriff’s deputy, who moved in downstairs.

The deputy had been documenting noise since she moved in three weeks ago, and said Seachrist has been verbally harassing her.

Seachrist’s boyfriend told deputies he “has witnessed Marianna continuing to play loud music, drop weights, and stomp around her house in high-heel shoes.”

Seachrist was accused of stalking the original victim again and for allegedly stalking the deputy.

Other neighbors have complained of noise as well, and some want to sell their home, but said they would feel bad, considering the situation.
