ORLANDO, Fla. — A fire in west Orlando is out after filling the sky over State Road 408 with a thick black smoke Thursday afternoon.
Officials said they believe the fire started in an RV and spread to a nearby building at 301 North Ivey Lane, about half a mile from Ivey Lane Elementary School.

Channel 9’s helicopter was there when an RV burned to the ground and caught two nearby warehouses on fire.
Firefighters said a family might have been living in the trailer, but no one was there when it burned.
Witnesses said they were worried that fire would spread before the fire department showed up.
A spokeperson for Orange County Public Schools said the fire had no impact on students at Ivey Lane Elementry School.
No injuries were reported, officials said.
