ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Two people were hospitalized Friday morning after a vehicle crashed into a tree and caught fire in Orange County, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.
The crash happened around 8:04 a.m. near the intersection of Palm Parkway and S. Apopka Vineland Road.
Firefighters arrived to find the vehicle on fire.
The driver had gotten out of the vehicle before crews arrived, and firefighters extinguished the flames.
Two patients were transported to local hospitals.
One person was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with burns, while another was transported to Orlando Health Dr. Phillips Hospital with minor injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately available.
