OIA prepares to welcome travelers from Brazil this week

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando International Airport is ready to welcome travelers from Brazil after they were restricted from entering the United States due to the pandemic.

The first flight from Brazil in 19 months will land at the airport on Wednesday.

More international travelers come to Florida from Brazil than from any other country besides Canada.

Those visitors have a huge impact on the tourism tax dollars taken.

Channel 9 will be there when the flight lands.
