ORLANDO, Fla. — Magic Media Day was held on Monday, marking the unofficial start of a new Orlando Magic season.
Training camp gets underway Tuesday morning, and Channel 9 spent Monday afternoon talking with the people at the center of it all, from the head coach and president of basketball operations to players across the roster.

There was a fresh energy around the AdventHealth Training Center, and new head coach Sean Sweeney is a big reason why.
Sweeney takes over a team with plenty of Central Florida star power.
Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Desmond Bane headline an Orlando roster looking to take the next step after a breakthrough postseason run last year.
The Magic pushed the top-seeded Detroit Pistons to seven games in last season’s playoffs, coming within one game of advancing.
Now, the focus is on getting over that hump, and winning the franchise’s first playoff series in 16 years.
With a new season comes a new opportunity, and the Magic are ready to get to work.
