Orlando man arrested after threatening teenage girl for nude photos

ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orlando man was arrested Thursday after police discovered he had been using threats to force a teenage girl to send him inappropriate pictures while conducting a separate investigation involving the same girl.

Fred Lucius Jr., 33, is a registered sex offender and met the young girl on Craigslist while trying to meet girls, investigators said.

The teenager had been kidnapped last week by John Rush, 44, in Kentucky who deputies said also found her online.

While going through her computer, investigators found that Lucius had been chatting with the teen.

Lucius had been training her to become his slave and then planned to sell her on Craigslist, according to investigators.

Lucius told police he knew the teen had been kidnapped last week and knew about the man who kidnapped her.

Lucius faced a judge today and will remain in jail for violating his probation, police said. He had served three of his five years in prison as a convicted sex offender.

Police said they found conversations between the teen and Lucius when investigating her kidnapping by Rush.

The emails said he wanted her to call him 'sir' and that he would rape her family if she didn't send him naked pictures, according to authorities.

"It's really strange, I had no idea," neighbor Jesse Adebule said. "It's kind of scary living that close. I had no idea it could be anybody around here doing the same thing."

Lucius was using the email "SirHomer2U", investigators said.

Police said they are now going through that email and all of his devices to see what else he was doing with this girl and possibly others.

Lucius claimed he never contacted the 16 year old and said no one has used the email address in years, but police found that there were conversations with her up until the night before he was arrested.

Channel 9 found that he had already been convicted of sexual battery on a minor and is going through several cases where he was a suspected rapist.
