ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orlando man is fighting a brain injury after his friends said a man attacked him and took off.

The victim's friends said he walked up on a fight without realizing what was going on.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office still hasn't been able to identify the suspect and is asking for help.

Deputies said a group of three friends had left Gators Dockside on John Young Parkway just after midnight Thursday and had gone over to Tavern at the Creek to watch a car show in a parking lot.

When they were ready to leave, they ran into trouble.

The victim’s friend spoke on the condition of anonymity.

"(One of the suspect's friends) and another gentleman walked towards me and (my female friend), and we were both stopped at the front door,” he said. “(One of the suspect's friends) reaches over, and cups and grabs her private area."

The man described the fight that broke out when he tried to confront the individual he said touched his friend inappropriately.

"I turn back and (one of the suspect's friends) punches me in the face,” he said.

While the fight was developing in the parking lot, Sebastian Valencia, 24, used the restroom inside.

He had no idea the man whom no one seems to know, and the man's friend, were busy beating someone up.

When Valencia walked out of the bathroom, friends said he was clueless to the fact that he was about to be fighting for his life.

"The other gentleman that nobody can identify decided to jump on him and kick him. Punch him and kick him in the face while he's on the ground,” said the victim’s friend, who added that Valencia suffered swelling of the brain and remains hospitalized.

"What is your message to somebody who might know who the unnamed man is in this story?” asked Channel 9 reporter Field Sutton.

“I know nobody likes to be a snitch,” Valencia’s friend said. “But at the end of the day, look at it as if it was your best friend. Or your brother."
