Orlando police search for women in Target robbery

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police said they are looking for five people, including a pregnant woman, who robbed an Orlando Target store on Maguire Boulevard and Colonial Drive.

During the robbery, the group used pepper spray on an employee, investigators said.

Police said the store had to be evacuated because the spray affected other customers.

"My whole face felt like it caught fire. My eyes were burning so bad, I couldn't even open them for 20 minutes," said Target employee Jalaine Overton.

Authorities said that on Saturday night the group went into the Target store, looking for baby clothes.

They stole about $1,500 worth of merchandise, investigators said.

Overton was leaving for the night when one of the women sprayed her with pepper spray as they ran away.

But emergency responders didn't know what had hit her yet, so they evacuated the entire store while a hazmat team investigated.

Overton said she has to use eye drops to relieve the burning feeling.

"I would never want to feel that ever again, and I just hope they are caught, and they know that, that just wasn't cool," Overton said.

Investigators have surveillance video of the crime, but they have not released it because the investigation is ongoing.
