The limited-time production adds vampire pirates, new music, aerial stunts, themed cocktails and Halloween effects to the dinner show

ORLANDO, Fla. — Pirates Dinner Adventure is giving its high-seas show a darker makeover for Halloween.

VAMPIRATES returns to Orlando this fall with a special public preview Sept. 14, followed by select performances from Sept. 22 through Oct. 31.

The seasonal production combines the attraction’s usual sword fights, stunts and audience participation with vampire pirates, Halloween effects and a more rock-driven soundtrack.

Guests will see Captain Sebastian and his crew transformed into “Vampirates” as they pursue Princess Anita in a storyline involving enchanted treasure and a cursed crew.

What’s new for 2026

This year’s version includes a new aerial solo, updated character looks, new makeup and airbrush effects and a refreshed soundtrack.

Pirates Dinner Adventure is also adding Halloween-themed craft cocktails, show-specific merchandise and a Vampirate Captain’s Quarters photo opportunity in the lobby.

“Our goal was not to replace the Pirates experience, but to let Halloween take over every part of it,” Creative Director Jayson Wadzinski said.

The show runs about 90 minutes and includes a three-course meal. Vegetarian and gluten-free entrées are available, and guests can pay to upgrade their main course or seating.

Special preview planned Sept. 14

A public and media preview is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 14.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 8 p.m. Pre-show entertainment will include stilt walkers, roaming musicians performing spooky sea shanties, storytelling, photo opportunities and seasonal drinks.

Regular VAMPIRATES performances begin Sept. 22 and continue on select dates through Halloween.

Pirates Dinner Adventure is also celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Its 700-seat Orlando theater surrounds an 18th-century-style Spanish galleon in a 300,000-gallon indoor lagoon.
