HOLLY HILL, Fla. — A locally owned Pilates studio is preparing to expand into a new space at the Shops at Marina Grande in Holly Hill.
Pilates with Kori, founded by instructor Kori in 2023, is planning to move from its current studio into a larger location as the business continues to grow.
Kori began teaching Pilates in 2020 at a franchise studio before launching her own business three years later.
“What started as a small studio with just one-on-one private reformer training has grown so much over the past few years,” she said.
She said the goal from the beginning was to create a smaller, more personal environment where clients could receive individualized instruction while also building a sense of community.
Expanding at Marina Grande
Kori said she lives near Marina Grande and has watched the area continue to develop.
“I love that the area is new and up-and-coming with so much potential,” she said.
The studio has also outgrown its existing space, making the move an opportunity to expand while remaining close to a community she already knows.
Pilates with Kori is hoping to open the new location by Jan. 1, though construction and buildout are still underway.
Small-group classes remain focus
The studio currently limits classes to four people and plans to increase that to five at the new location.
Kori said keeping classes small allows instructors to get to know clients, provide individual attention and make modifications when needed.
“We want people to feel like they’re walking into a community, not just another workout class,” she said.
The studio also offers private and small-group sessions for clients seeking more individualized training.
Kori said she has already received interest from people who heard the studio was moving to Marina Grande and hopes the new location will help the business continue growing while becoming more connected with neighboring businesses and residents.
