TITUSVILLE, Fla.,None — Titusville police are searching for a man they said posed as a garbage man to cheat people out of money.
Detectives said he may have been ripping people off for an entire year.
Police said the man went door to door in the Hickory Hill neighborhood and told residents he was their garbage man. He then asked for money to fix his broken truck.
One neighbor who gave the man money turned a picture over to police.
“Times are tough like I said, people are desperate trying to do things but there's people trying to take advantage all the time,” said resident Steve Archer.
Titusville police are asking victims to come forward. Detectives said even if people didn't give this man much money, they still want to know about it.
