LAKE COUNTY,Fla.,None — Lake County deputies and Lady Lake police department are searching for an elderly woman who went missing from an assisted living facility and suffers from Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
Officials said 81-year-old Dorothy "Dot" Collett was last seen at The Springs of Lady Lake, which is located at 620 Griffin Avenue, at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
Collett wears glasses and walks with a walker, though both her glasses and walker were left in her room.
Collett is approximately 5 foot 3 inches tall, has short gray hair, and wears an identification bracelet.
She has difficulty walking without her walker and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved maroon shirt.
