MOUNT DORA, Fla. — Mount Dora police are searching for a group of armed, masked men who robbed a bank Monday morning.
Police responded to an alarm coming from the BB&T Bank on North Donnelly Street around 11:50 a.m. after four men entered the bank armed with handguns and demanded cash.
The men left with an undisclosed amount of cash, got into a black SUV with a getaway driver waiting inside and took off, police said.
Police found the SUV believed to have been used in the robbery, a black Saturn SUV that had been stolen out of Seminole County, within 5 minutes of responding to the bank.
Detectives are currently working to get a warrant to search the Saturn.
