SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla.,None — Seminole County investigators are warning residents to be careful of sales people who are talking their way into homes and stealing.
In the past month, police in Longwood and Winter Springs have received several complaints about the door-to-door burglaries.
One victim told WFTV while one saleswoman distracted her, the other stole $225 from her wallet.
“Everyone just needs to watch out, as bad as it sounds, you can't trust anybody these days,” said victim Amber Glore.
WFTV found out most of these solicitors work for Majestic Sales, a company with an “F” rating from the Better Business Bureau.
Longwood police said it's a violation of city code for people to solicit without a permit.
