Witness: Peeping Tom exposed self outside child's window

PALM BAY, Fla. — Police in Palm Bay are hoping a recently released composite sketch will help track down a man who a witness said was peering into a child's bedroom window while exposing himself.

Police said it happened last Monday on Norman Street North East.

WFTV's Renee Stoll spoke with the woman who said she saw the man and then ran to call police.

"I went across the street to hand over mail that was delivered wrongly to my house. I heard some grunting noises," said witness Jodi Marcinkowski. "I look over and there's a man, half nude."

She said she was shocked to see the man exposing himself in the driveway while peering through the window of a 12-year-old girl.

"He asked me if I liked what I saw. It was disgusting," she said.

That's when Marcinkowski ran to call 911 and the man took off.

"We're out looking for him every night. We still look for him. They want to catch him," said Marcinkowski.

Several neighbors told WFTV they recognized the man in the composite sketch.

"We've seen him walking around this neighborhood before," said Michael O'Malley.

Tanya Holmes said she believes he's the same person who tried to talk to her children weeks ago.

"It makes me feel like I have to be careful of what I do and have my blinds closed all the time," said neighbor Qua Glasco, 14.

Palm Bay police think the man may be homeless, which is how Marcinkowski described him.

"Very leathered skin, dark, you know, tan. He was very skinny, 6 foot, very thin, no muscle tone," she said.

She said a lot of people live in the woods nearby the home.
