WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. — The City of Winter Springs has expanded a precautionary boil water notice following a water main repair that caused a temporary interruption in service.
The notice applies to the following addresses and areas:
- 577-590 Walden Court
- 566-575 Walden Way
- 513-531 Lombardy Road
- 533-543 Willow Way
- 545-565 Brookside Drive
- 550-560 Oak Court

- 163, 1155, 1250, 1255, 1260, and 1270 Belle Avenue
- Winter Springs Elementary School
City officials said residents in nearby areas may experience intermittent water service and could notice discolored water caused by sediment stirred up during the repair process. Customers are encouraged to run faucets until the water clears.
As a precaution, residents in the affected areas should boil tap water for one minute before drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or preparing food.
The notice will remain in effect until repairs are complete and bacteriological testing confirms the water is safe to drink.
Residents with questions can contact Winter Springs Utilities at 407-327-1800 or the city’s after-hours service line at 407-327-2669.
