SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Tropical Storm Danny, with winds up to 50 mph, has been on a weakening trend for the past few days but is now maintaining intensity.
Dry air and wind shear are expected to impact the storm even more over the next few days and further weakening is expected, according to WFTV meteorologist George Waldenberger.

Because there still are some uncertainties as to how strong Danny will be over the next few days, Puerto Rico has been placed under a tropical storm watch.
Waldenberger said it’s important to note that the system could bring some much needed rainfall to Puerto Rico.
The islands of Antigua, Barbuda, Montserrat, St. Kitts, Nevis and Anguilla are under a tropical storm warning at this time.
