Rough coastal conditions continue as forecast calls for breezy conditions, passing showers

ORLANDO, Fla. — If you’re spending your day along the coast of Central Florida on Tuesday, you’re advised to stay out of the water.

Channel 9 meteorologist Brian Shields said the forecast calls for strong onshore winds to continue with 8 to 12-foot surf breaking along the coast.

Shields said he advises people stay out of the water through Wednesday.

The rest of Tuesday’s forecast calls for breezy conditions with a 20% chance of passing showers and a mix of sun and clouds. The high temperature will be around 79.

Shields said higher rain chances are expected later this week as a storm system moves in.
