SANFORD, Fla. — The City of Sanford has opened a new art exhibition celebrating the community’s history and America’s 250th anniversary.
“Painting Peace, Place and Possibility: The Art of Francine Levy” is now on display in the main lobby of Sanford City Hall.
The exhibition was organized in partnership with the Puzzled Peace Initiative and features Levy’s paintings of Sanford’s landscapes, architecture, waterways and historic character.
“For more than four decades, Francine Levy has captured Sanford’s landscapes, architecture, waterways and historic character through her paintings,” the city said.
City officials described the exhibition as a tribute to people whose creativity and service leave a lasting impact on their communities.
The exhibit is open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Sanford City Hall, 300 N. Park Ave.
