WINTER GARDEN, Fla. — Authorities arrested a Winter Garden murder suspect who was being taken to the hospital for injuries he couldn't explain.
According to police, officers found Sandra Shemansky, 57, dead in a camping trailer at a Winter Garden RV resort when they stopped to check on her well-being Saturday.
Investigators said they suspect foul play in her death and have identified her son, Michael Shemansky, 35, as a suspect.
Michael Shemansky was arrested in Mascotte late Monday night after knocking on a man's door for help, requesting medical assistance, police said.

Raul Molina told Channel 9 he was trying to take the man to the hospital when he started having a seizure.
"He said, 'I don't have my memory. I just had a seizure a little time ago,'" said Molina. "I said to myself, "no, it cannot be."
When Molina started having a seizure in the vehicle, Molina waved down a Mascotte police officer, whose bodycam captured everything on video.
"I think I've been gone for like two or three days," Michael Shemansky said.
"You don't remember how you got down here?" asked the officer.
"I must've been riding my bike but I don't know where my bike's at," Michael Shemansky said.
Michael Shemansky said he has a history of seizures and admitted the last time he took his medication was Friday.
"It was a little scary," said Molina. "That's why I had the instinct that something was wrong with him."
When Shemansky's information was entered at South Lake Hospital, authorities said they learned of an active warrant for his mother's killing.
Shemansky, who had scrapes and bruises on his face, was taken into custody and was provided medical attention.
He refused to provide a statement to law enforcement in reference to the homicide investigation, authorities said.
Some of those staying at the RV resort told Channel 9 they had chatted with both Shemanskys.
"She was real nice. (A) real nice person. He's real pleasant to talk to and everything," park resident Nathan Tanner said.
Tanner said Sandra Shemansky had recently come to Florida from Michigan to be with her son, who is a resident of the resort.
He said it appeared as though Michael Shemansky was going through a divorce.
"And he got some paperwork Friday that was, I guess, bad news and I guess that triggered him," Tanner said.
Michael Shemansky is being held on no bond. Winter Garden police still haven’t said how his mother was killed.
Authorities said Michael Shemansky was on probation after pleading guilty in February to two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, and he was planning to move to Michigan, pending a decision regarding transfer of probation.
