Orange County leaders finally got the first glimpse of efforts to build a pedestrian bridge over International Drive and Sand Lake Road — something that could provide pedestrian relief and easier access for businesses on the tourist corridor.

The county commission is not required to vote on the project yet, but the commissioners were informed at its Sept. 26 meeting

No timeline for those steps has been disclosed.
