SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — With two weeks to go before school is out for the summer in Seminole County, the district is taking steps to curb unacceptable student behavior.

It comes after an increase in recent weeks that has resulted in several student arrests at Lake Mary High School.

The superintendent and the sheriff put out a rare joint statement on Thursday, announcing a zero-tolerance policy.
The two usually team up before school starts in the fall to talk about these issues, but never this late in the year.

The five-minute video was sent out to all parents and students in the district, announcing that disruptive will not be tolerated.
