Seminole County debuts new multi-functional fire truck

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Seminole County added a new truck to its firefighting fleet on Monday.

The Seminole County Fire Department added Quint 24 into service at Station 24.

The truck is the second multi-functioning fire truck in use by the department.

Officials said the Quint has five primary functions including a pump, water tank, large-diameter fire hose, aerial device and ground ladders.

“Quint 24 will help increase the aerial capabilities needed for the growing Winter Springs area,” said Seminole County Fire Chief Matt Kinley in a statement.
