Seminole man accused of cyberstalking, uploading revenge porn

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A Seminole County man is accused of cyberstalking his ex-girlfriend and uploading nude photographs of her to Facebook, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said.

Charles Guy, 28, is among the first in Central Florida to be charged since the so-called revenge porn law was enacted.

As Guy’s ex-girlfriend provided a statement to investigators, they said he called her 30 times, threatening to upload more nude photographs of her to Facebook if she didn’t return his phone calls.

"It's a good law,” said Mary Heffner, who lives near the victim. “That's terrible that somebody would put something [like that] on Facebook."

Guy was arrested on four charges and booked into the Seminole County Jail. He’s jailed in lieu of $11,000 bail.
