SANFORD, Fla. — Teachers at one Seminole County school are racing to prepare for the first day of school.
At Seminole High School work continues on classrooms for the first day of classes August 17.

Seminole High school has more than 4,300 students, but this year only 1,800 will be on campus.
“We are running about as well as we could hope given the circumstances.” said Seminole High principal Dr. Jordan Rodriguez.

“The main thing right now is making sure the teachers know exactly what they are teaching and making sure the supplies we ordered are coming in and distributed.” Dr. Rodriguez says.
Students are expected to receive schedules this week.
