Seminole State College of Florida has its sights set on new construction at its Altamonte Springs campus.

The Sanford-based college is seeking state funding for the planned 108,134-square-foot Workforce, Science, & Technology Building B and a 12,675-square-foot remodeling of a former car dealership it owns into a student center.
The new workforce building is estimated at $60.3 million, while the cost of the renovation is $5.1 million.
