KISSIMMEE, Fla.,None — Some residents who live in a peaceful downtown neighborhood are fed up with a nasty smell that comes from a sewage lift station right next to their homes.
"Everyone knows waterfront property should be top notch," resident Bernie Kain said. "I don't think we have that now."
Neighbors along Lakeshore Boulevard told WFTV they have dealt with the horrible smell in their Kissimmee neighborhood for the past 20 years. It gets worse when the wind blows, they said.
"It's the most offensive odor a man smells. Rotting cabbage. Sulfur. Eggs," resident Dennis Jackson said.
