Sex offender who posted bizarre videos on YouTube dies in prison

LAKE COUNTY, Fla.,None — A convicted sex offender known for posting strange videos online died in prison, according to the Florida Department of Corrections' website.

Edward Muscare, 79, posted bizarre videos, including one where he sang "Pretty Woman," to the website YouTube.

In the mid-'80s, Muscare was convicted of molesting a teenaged boy in Orange County.

By 2006, Muscare was living in Lake County. When he didn't notify authorities there of a change of address, he received five years probation. One of the conditions of that probation required Muscare not to have a computer without permission.

When a probation officer spotted one in Muscare's new home in South Carolina, she told him it wasn't supposed to be there. He told her he would submit his computer for inspection without notice.

Muscare was serving five years in prison with credit for time served.

Details of his death were not released.
